Donations and Salvations

תרומות וישועות - חבת ירושליםThe Jewish nation has drunk its fill from the bitter cup of sorrow, bereavement, orphan-hood and fathomless pain – there is virtually no Jewish heart whose sigh doesn’t shatter itself to pieces. The Jew is crying out for salvation, for the ray of light at the end of the tunnel, to be rescued from the depths: ‘Please G-d, until when?’ And the expansive heart, the heart of Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim, knows. Because in their hands lie the secret to deliverance, entrusted to them from generations of old.

Kuppat Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess: a conduit through which blessings and miracles are channelled into the world. The greatest leaders from previous generations, such as the Baal Shem Tov, the Maggid of Kozhnitz, the ‘Chozeh’ of Lublin, the Ohev Yisrael and many others, testified that contributing to this fund will bring untold blessing and Yeshuos (deliverance).

‘Kollel Chibas Yerushalayim’ goes to great lengths to ensure that a charity box of ‘Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess’ is placed in every Jewish home. From across the ocean requests stream in for the holy ‘Tzedaka box’ - and the Kollel sends them along with their heartfelt blessings. Because not everyone can go to the Kosel, travel to Meron, visit the grave of Rabbi Meir Baal haNes and cry out in prayer – but anyone can bring these ‘places of prayer’ into their own homes! The famous Tzedaka box has become the private Kosel in every Jewish home.

The Kollel was founded by Torah giants of previous generations, including Rav Tzvi Hirsch of Ziditchov, and they declared that they themselves contributed money and experienced miracles. As the Admor Rav Shlomo of Bobov quoted: “…this is the place my forefathers prayed’. In the merit of their charity, our fathers’ prayers were answered.

…And may the One Who answered our fathers, answer us too and heed our cries, and pour over us an abundance of blessing and deliverance, so we may merit to see the joy of Zion and Yerushalayim; to hear the harbinger of good news.

Our G-d, and the G-d of our fathers, will answer us –
‘Elaka d’Rebi Meir Ya’anenu’: the G-d of Rebi Meir will answer us!
